Delhi Open Tennis Premier League Helps Find Local Talent
Ahead of its fifth season, the Delhi Open, the final leg of the Tennis Premier League (TPL) supported by Clear, made its way to Delhi.

Delhi Open, the fifth season of the Tennis Premier League (TPL) presented by Clear, made its way to Delhi for the last round of the grassroots competition. Located at the RK Khanna Tennis Stadium in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) served as the host of the Delhi Open. There was a lot of activity at the stadium as hopeful tennis players arrived from all across Delhi to compete.

Over the past four seasons, the Tennis Premier League (TPL) has shed light on the Indian tennis community. In a close-run final, Ananya Gupta was victorious in the U14 Girl’s division, defeating Suhana Ohlan. A Yonex racquet worth Rs. 12,000 was given to Annaya. In the U14 Boy’s category, Himanish Brinda triumphed over Kushagra Arora in the championship match. In addition, he received a Yonex racquet valued at Rs. 12,000.
In a thrilling final against Sahil Sarang, Parth Agrawal emerged victorious in the Open Category and was given a reward of Rs. 10,000. The Delhi Open concluded with the Assistant Coaches Singles division. Iciraibe Salie emerged victorious in the end, defeating Mohammed Arif, and he was given a reward of Rs. 10,000.

In addition to owning Delhi Binny’s Brigade, Sneh Patel is the creator and owner of the SaveEat App. She expressed her excitement about the attendance at the TPL Delhi Open by saying, “The talent on display today was truly awe-inspiring.” A number of players gave performances that had the audience in stitches, displaying all the qualities of potential champions.

Ankita Bhambri, the Punjab Tigers’ mentor, emphasised the value of these community competitions, saying, “It was thrilling to see the talent on display today at the Tennis Premier League Delhi Open.” Some of the players gave genuinely amazing performances, displaying every talent required to compete at the greatest level of tennis. I’m sure we’ve found some undiscovered tennis treasures from the area today. This was the city’s first-ever district ranking tournament, demonstrating how the league is changing the sport nationally.”
